Mememoir - Adding another dimension to the collaborative Web2.0
Check out the WikiGenes pilot project on genes and moelecular biology.
The world's first wiki where authorship matters
Concept
Based on a powerful authorship tracking technology, this next generation wiki links every word to its corresponding author. This way readers of Mememoir can always know their sources and authors receive due credit.
Vision
In the WebX.0 every new contribution will be compared against all existing electronic information and unambiguous authorship for new and original content will be established. The difference between publishing on the web and in traditional media will disappear entirely.
Mmm?
The word Mememoir was derived from Richard Dawkin’s meme (unit of cultural evolution) and memoir (account of an author's personal experience or scientific essay). It is pronounced meem`waa(r).
Rationale
The history of a collaborative wiki article can become extremely complex within a few editing cycles. How could the reader of such an article know who wrote what? [more]
